  2. 2. Quick Mobile Facts Worldwide there are 2.5 billion mobile users Over half (59%) are in developing countries In the past 12 months the number of mobile users grew by 500 million Every month in China there are 5-6 million new users 33 Billion text messages are sent each month in China alone
