Ardent emotional attachment or involvement between people; love: They kept the romance alive in their marriage for 35 years. c. A strong, sometimes short-lived attachment, fascination, or enthusiasm for something: a childhood romance with the sea. </li></ul><ul><li>2. A mysterious or fascinating quality or appeal, as of something adventurous, heroic, or strangely beautiful: &quot;These fine old guns often have a romance clinging to them&quot; Richard Jeffries. </li></ul>

Why is Romance Important? <ul><li>Romance is the creation of an atmosphere where you feel unconditional love and appreciation </li></ul><ul><li>Romance doesn't have to be expensive or perfect-it only requires thought and effort! </li></ul><ul><li>Romance makes you feel loved, happy, confident and lighter. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Romance & Feng Shui <ul><li>Use FS to bring romance in your life if single or in an existing relationship </li></ul><ul><li>Find the Relationship area and activate it w/color and items that inspire romantic thoughts </li></ul>
  6. 6. The Bedroom <ul><li>The Bedroom is for only 2 things-rest and romance! </li></ul><ul><li>Remove anything that doesn’t support the above activities. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Bedroom No-No’s <ul><li>Pictures of your family, in-laws, friends and children </li></ul><ul><li>Exercise equipment (i.e. clothes hanger) </li></ul><ul><li>Television </li></ul><ul><li>Computer </li></ul><ul><li>Anything w/a violent connotation </li></ul>
  8. 8. Relationship Colors <ul><li>Use RED if in a serious, legally binding relationship </li></ul><ul><li>Use PINK if single and looking </li></ul><ul><li>Use CORAL if single, want to stay that way and looking for a no-strings relationship </li></ul>
  9. 9. The Romance of Accessories <ul><li>Think of scenes, places and things that are romantic to you (i.e. beach scenes, sunsets, roses…) </li></ul><ul><li>Things should be displayed in pairs </li></ul>

Romantic Numbers <ul><li>1-signifies individual, solo, single </li></ul><ul><li>2-signifies pair, couples </li></ul><ul><li>3-signifies a third person/thing coming in between you and your partner </li></ul><ul><li>***Display things in pairs if you want to attract, keep or re-energize your relationship*** </li></ul>

Romance and the Single Person <ul><li>Remove any item that does not convey romance to you </li></ul><ul><li>Make sure you can enter the bed from either side Have matching tables/nightstand on either side of the bed </li></ul><ul><li>Remove clutter from under the bed, in the closet and dresser drawers to allow room for another to enter your life </li></ul><ul><li>Have some romantic “date” clothes in your closet so you have something appropriate to wear </li></ul>
  12. 12. More Romance in an Existing Relationship <ul><li>Only display items of the 2 of you-no friends, kids or other family members </li></ul><ul><li>The Bedroom is your sanctuary from the rest of the world, make it that way! </li></ul>
