Chances to become President <ul><li>In his first campaign, Reagan promised that he would reduce taxes. </li></ul><ul><li>After him being elected president, he failed to deliver with his promise to reduce taxes. </li></ul><ul><li>He also failed to name his part of candidacy and people thought he would not get a nomination. </li></ul><ul><li>Reagan decided to challenge Ford in the Republican party, and in the end Ford prevailed. </li></ul>
