  3. 3. PROTECT YOUR FAMILY FROM SECONDHAND SMOKE What is Secondhand Smoke? There are two types of secondhand smoke: Side stream smoke, the smoke coming from a burning cigarette, and Smoke exhaled from a persons mouth (ETS) Environmental Tobacco Smoke, this is sometimes called passive smoke.
