  3. 3. <ul><li>Practice ducking for cover, crouching, and be aware. </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct an earthquake plan, like where to go. </li></ul><ul><li>Come up with the safest place in your home to hide in case of one. </li></ul><ul><li>First aid kit should be inside of kit. </li></ul><ul><li>Money </li></ul><ul><li>Hygiene materials </li></ul><ul><li>Map </li></ul><ul><li>Radio </li></ul><ul><li>Utility tools </li></ul>How to prepare and what to keep in the kit?
  4. 4. <ul><li>Stop whatever you are doing, and drop to the ground. Best thing to do is get under a table or some piece of furniture. </li></ul><ul><li>If there is no furniture, use your hands to cover your face and crouch down. </li></ul><ul><li>STAY AWAY from glass, windows, doors, and walls. </li></ul><ul><li>Hold on to anything possible </li></ul><ul><li>WATCH OUT for lights that may fall from the ceilings. </li></ul>Earthquake safety(At home)
  5. 5. Earthquake Safety (Outdoors) <ul><li>Stay wherever you are. </li></ul><ul><li>STAY AWAY buildings, streetlights, and wires. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Earthquake Safety (School) <ul><li>Same procedures as at home. </li></ul><ul><li>Listen to all orders by your teacher or professor. </li></ul><ul><li>Most importantly, no fooling around. </li></ul>
