  2. 2. How many? <ul><li>There are around 42 million men and women with HIV/Aids </li></ul><ul><li>1 in 3 adults have Aids </li></ul><ul><li>In fact 70% of women ages 30-34 and men 40-44 have HIV/Aids </li></ul><ul><li>2.5 million of the cases they have are between the ages 15-24 </li></ul>
  3. 3. How many more? <ul><li>There are 19 million women that are living with HIV/Aids </li></ul><ul><li>There are 14000 new cases every year day </li></ul><ul><li>By 2010, 5 countries with 40% of the worlds population will rise 50 to 75 million people with HIV/Aids </li></ul>

Causes to stop it! <ul><li>In 2003 a 5 year $15 billion effort to stop aids in Africa </li></ul><ul><li>A problem they are having fighting aids this disease is that they don’t have enough money to stop it </li></ul><ul><li>The people there don’t have money to buy small important things like condoms </li></ul>

Can kids be effected by this disease? <ul><li>Kids can be effected by this disease, in fact there are 14 million Aids orphan children in Africa </li></ul><ul><li>An estimated that by 2010 there will be 15 million Aids orphans, that is a million more kids </li></ul><ul><li>Also kids can get this disease because there mom might have had aids and she gave it to the baby in the whom </li></ul>
