  1. 1. How your students use Criterion<br />criterion.ets.org<br />
  2. 2. The first time you use Criterion you have to register.<br />
  3. 3. Use the two codes your teacher gave to you.<br />
  4. 4. Now you can make your user name and choose a password<br />User name: (yourname)(yoursoongsilnumber)<br />Example: HyoungJu200100001<br />Password: Choose something easy to remember.<br />
  5. 5. Click on your essay.<br />
  6. 6. Just click ‘Continue’.<br />
  7. 7. Start writing you essay here.<br />
  8. 8. When you have finished your essay you can click SUBMIT ESSAY.<br />You should only submit one time. Make sure you are finished and ready to check your mistakes.<br />
  9. 9. Click okay.<br />
  10. 10. You need to wait a few seconds while your essay is checked<br />
  11. 11. Click View Score Analysis.<br />
  12. 12. Click REVISE ESSAY tab<br />
  13. 13. You need to click on the tabs to see different kinds of mistake<br />Click on the green writing to see where you made mistakes.<br />
  14. 14. I clicked the Mechanics tab and then the green Missing Comma category.<br />‘For example cattle are castrated…’<br />You have made a comma error.<br />Now see if you can correct it in your essay below. Then continue checking the tabs and green writing until you correct as many error as you can.<br />
  15. 15. To print your essay when you have finished,<br />click View Score Analysis.<br />Then click Printer Friendly Version and the printer icon.<br />
