Mike wakes up to an empty house as his parents are away for the week. He goes to a restaurant for breakfast where he witnesses a purse snatching. Mike chases after the robber and is able to hold him down until the police arrive. Though initially worried about confronting the robber, Mike is praised for returning the purse to its owner. Despite the exciting events, Mike considers it just another regular day.

• On a regular Saturday Morning, Mike’s alarm
clock buzzed for like 10 minutes, but he that
never even bothered him he just kept on
sleeping. Finally, he woke up and went down to
the stairs very slowly to get something to eat.
There was a note on the fridge. It said Dear
Mike, went to Florida for the week be back next
Tuesday love mom. Then, his dad, Greg, came
down and said “Later Mike, going to work late
tonight see you later.”

• “YESSSS I’m free I can do whatever I
want now!!!!.” He looked to see what was
in the fridge, but there was no food in it. It
was like a wasteland in the fridge. So he
decided to go out to IHOP to eat some
pancakes. While he was walking down the
street, he was looking at the neighborhood
from a first person view.

• The neighborhood looked pretty nice to
him. Kids were playing hopscotch, riding
bikes, playing football, and chasing other
kids through the parks. Then, Mike had
this sudden feeling that someone was
watching him in the shadows. He turned
around to see someone and he could of
swore he saw someone dash out of the
way really fast like a shadow just
disappearing from the sun.

• When he looked no one was there, so he
just kept on walking not thinking about it.
When he first enter the restaurant, a waiter
came to him and said, “Hello, may I take
your order?” Mike said, “Yes, I would like 2
cinnamon pancakes with 2 sausages and
a hash brown please?” The waiter said, “
Ok, I got your order down, I will be back
with your meal in a minute.” Mike said,
“Thanks!!”

• Mike went to his seat and sat down. He
one looking at everybody else who had
already gotten their plate and enjoying it.
he could smell all the different types of
pancakes that were made across the
whole restaurant. Mike thought to himself,
“All of this food smells really good, I’m
having a good day so far.” Finally the
waiter came and said, “Here you go, just
like you ordered.”

• Mike said, “Thanks, the food looks really
good!” Then, the waiter said, “Your
welcome anytime you need something just
ask.” Mike was munching down on his
food like a wild tiger. His favorite type of
food is cinnamon pancakes and he would
use to eat that every time he got a good
score on a test. Then, the bell rang on the
door a big guy with dark clothes came in,
said is order and sat down very quickly.

• Now to Mike, he looked for suspicious and
kind of mean, but no one else pay
attention to this guy. Mike thought about
questioning him, but he decided not to get
on this guy bad side, so he decided not to
do it. Then, the stranger got up to go to the
bathroom so did an elderly woman who
was carrying her pocketbook with her. it
was a few minutes before the both came
out at the same time.

• Then out of nowhere, the stranger grabs
the bag and starts to run away with it. the
elderly lady screamed out, “HELP ME
STOP THAT MAN ALL MY MONEY IS IN
THERE SOMEBODY PLEASE STOP
HIM!!!” Mike was afraid of what might
happen if he didn't succeed in getting it.
What if he fails and something horrible
happens to him? Mike had no worries, he
was brave and he was confident he was
going to get the bag back.

• Mike said, “Don't worry miss, I will get your
bag back and he raced after the man.”
Mike saw how fast this guy was and he
thought that he was getting farther away
by the second. then, just in the nick of time
a cat came running in front of the robber
and the robber tripped and landed on his
face face first into the pavement. Mike
caught up to him and held the robber
down. Mike said, “Your not going
anywhere buddy, your staying right here.”

• Within second, the police were on the spot
and arrested the guy for attempted
robbery. Mike gave the purse back to the
lady and she said, “Thank you so much
young man!!” Mike started blushing really
hard, but he felt proud of himself and felt
like he accomplish something. Mike went
back finish his breakfast and went home.
he was so shocked and happy about this
day, he just climbed into bed and though
of this day as just another regular day.
