Improvements in food resources

  1. 1. It can be defined as the adoption of various farming and production management techniques to maximize agricultural yield.
  2. 2.  It is the cultivation of crops without the use of chemicals- insecticides, pesticides and herbicides.
  3. 3. Different crops requires different climatic conditions, temperature and photoperiod. In India, there are two main seasons of crop growth.  Kharif crops- Crops which are grown from June to October.  Rabi crops- Crops which are grown from November to April.
  4. 4.  It is partialy decomposed organic matter derrived from plants and animals.
  5. 5.  These are commercially produced by chemicals substances which are added to the soil to restore its fertility.
