Grupo SSI, since 1986 working to improve the quality of
life of people with social vulnerability and dependence

 SSI GROUP is a cooperative group, that integrates
non-profit organisations, formed mainly by
women.
 We give a comprehensive response to the social
needs of the elderly & people who are in a
situation of social vulnerability, and their
families, in the Basque Country.

We provide our services:
 to 17 municipalities
 with a workforce of 440
workers
 99% female
 to over 2.200 users

SSI was established in Bilbao in 1987 with two aims:
1) To give assistance
to elderly people
who couldn´t live
on their own
at home
2) To organise the care
activity of women who
worked in the black
market
