PROJECT OBJECTIVES <ul><li>Develop regional SDI which </li></ul><ul><li>supports interregional cooperation </li></ul><ul><li>promotes regional development and knowledge on SDI </li></ul><ul><li>presents attractiveness of the local territory </li></ul><ul><li>promotes integration of local regions into European society </li></ul><ul><li>Develop SDI thematics </li></ul><ul><li>provide comprehensive information about the particular regions of Latvia to find out what does the region think about itself, what feelings and atmosphere is present </li></ul><ul><li>provide key indicators which characterises level of development and potential of the territory </li></ul><ul><li>Promote integration of Latvia regions into European Society </li></ul><ul><li>regional data and metadata </li></ul><ul><li>other interesting WMS services and data from regional territorries </li></ul><ul><li>Cooperation among regions (Midi-Pyrenees, Abruzzo and Latvia) and exchange good practices </li></ul>
