He uses a four-step process that will build up a person’s body strength so they are able to perform the normal standard push-up. He works within a beginner’s reach and teaches applicable methods that will have him or her performing push-ups without any problems in no time. The humble push-up is a mainstay exercise in military fitness training and is used as a means of testing fitness across a wide range of demanding professions such as the police force and fire and rescue services. When performed correctly, the push-up promotes all-round core strength and stability in the body by working the muscles of the abdomen and back to maintain good posture and balance.
