Ancient civilizations reflection

  1. 1. Ancient Civilizations ReflectionMy Civilization:Ancient GreeceThe Research Journey:My favorite part of the research journey was taking notesbecause it was hard but I enjoyed it.My best research questionwas about legacies because I had the most notes on it.While doingmy research, I found it difficult evaluating sources because itwas hard to find a book or web site that answered myquestion. The most interesting thing I learned about thestructure of society was that men did things that womencouldn’t.I think that geometry is an important legacy ofancient Greece because if they did not invent geometry nobodywould know about shapes.Report WritingI am proud of my report because I put a lot of effort in my work. While writing the report, I became better at making a fullsentence. If I wrote it again, I would improve my report by using morebooks.Archeology PresentationI enjoyed making my artifacts because it was a thing I don’treally do often.I found it difficult to finish making the things intime.I am most proud of my coin artifact because it was thehardest to make.I enjoyed the archeology presentation because I could tell peopleabout ancient Greece.I found it difficult to remember the palmcards. While preparing for this presentation, I became better atwriting, reading and finding information.
  2. 2. What else?During this unit I especially enjoyed witing the report and Itook extra time to write the reference list. After this unit, Imight continue to get more information about ancient Greecebecause it interests me.
