How to embed fonts in your Presentation file

  1. 1. Q: The fonts in the uploaded slideshow seem different from the original fonts in thepresentation. They also seem to overflow their position. What do I do? Answers found in Slideshare help:Answer 1: Since we have just launched out new HTML Player, we are still trying to ironout some of the issues related to fonts. You may see fonts load after a while on thepresentation, which would result in the text on the slide being rendered in the defaultfont (Times New Roman) and then once the correct font gets loaded the text on thescreen is refreshed with the correct font. You may also notice that there is a lot ofhorizontal spacing between the letters or that the shadows of the text do not alignperfectly with the text. We are aware of these issues and are trying to fix these as soonas possible.Answer 2: SlideShare supports a lot of fonts and we are constantly adding more. However, if you are using uncommon fonts in your presentation, it is possible they maynot convert perfectly. Here are some ways to solve this issue:*) Try to refresh the page as sometimes the fonts do not load properly in the new HTMLplayer*) If refreshing does not work, try to open the content in another browser*) Convert the documents/presentations to PDF and upload again*) Try embedding the font inside your ppt, pptx, odp or keynote file and upload again*) Try using some of the common fonts and upload again-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
