INTRODUCTION <ul><li>Electrocardiograph is a device that records the electrical activity of the heart which will produce the result in the graphic form which called electrocardiogram (ECG). </li></ul><ul><li>Electrical waves cause the heart muscle to pump. </li></ul><ul><li>These waves pass through the body and can be measured at electrodes attached to the skin. </li></ul>

MEDICAL APPLICATION <ul><li>The ECG is useful for three basic parameters of clinically interest; </li></ul><ul><li>check the rhythm and rate of the heart, whether it is regular and normal, faster (tachycardia) or slower. </li></ul><ul><li>Check the axis of the heart, which can reveal any enlargement of the heart (hypertrophy). </li></ul><ul><li>Check the state of the myocardial muscle </li></ul>

ADVANTAGES <ul><li>Higher diagnostical informatively and possibility to represent the data in a topographic form. </li></ul><ul><li>ECG also require to detect the chest pain or discomfort , shortness of breath , weakness , anxiety, abdominal pain. </li></ul><ul><li>ECG can use to detect any latent (silent) cardiac conditions that might worsen with the stresses of surgery and anesthesia. </li></ul>

CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY <ul><li>ECG machine helps lots of heart’s patient in this world to detect their heart failure. </li></ul><ul><li>Detect heart failure functioning with easy, clear, and faster way. </li></ul><ul><li>ECG machine can be used widely using ECG portable. </li></ul><ul><li>The ECG waveform itself helps the doctor to analys the patient results. </li></ul>

CURRENT DESIGN ISSUE AND IMPROVEMENT <ul><li>Nowadays, patient can now easily check their own ECG. </li></ul><ul><li>The equipment is a tiny and easy to bring anywhere. </li></ul><ul><li>User can simply touch the Primer by two rights and left thumb, ECG trace is scrolling alive on the LCD screen. </li></ul><ul><li>The device also delivers and displays the ECG on a PC through the USB cable and also transmitted over phone. </li></ul>
  10. 11. <ul><li>The patients put the electrodes under each arm and attach a transmitter to the phone mouthpiece and the signal is sent to a monitoring center, where computers convert it to ECG readings. </li></ul><ul><li>This information can then be transferred to a doctor, so that it’s making it possible to detect heart problems in some patients much earlier </li></ul>
