  2. 2. Data Visualization: What is it? Data visualization is the graphical representation of numerical data. The right data tool can present a complex data set in a way that is simple to understand.
  3. 3. Visual Analytics: What is it? Visual analytics is a form of inquiry in which data that provides insight into solving a problem is displayed in an interactive, graphical manner Revealing patterns, trends and correlations.
  4. 4. Why Visualize? -test data management strategies -helpful for understanding large complex data sets -process abstract business or scientific data as images Examples.
