  1. 1. How to make a Worm Farm
  2. 2. What You Will Need <ul><li>A clean bath with a grate over the plug hole. </li></ul><ul><li>Newspaper, Cardboard, Egg trays </li></ul><ul><li>Straw or Hay </li></ul><ul><li>Water </li></ul><ul><li>Food Waste and Compost </li></ul><ul><li>Tiger Worms </li></ul>
  3. 3. First Step <ul><li>First you tear paper and cardboard and put it in the tub. You put Egg Trays and other cardboard-trays in first, Followed by Newspaper and other cardboard items </li></ul><ul><li>Worms like places to hide and sleep! </li></ul>
  4. 4. Second Step <ul><li>Next you water it. It should be nice and soft and look something like this. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Third Step <ul><li>After that you put the straw on top and water it. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Fourth Step <ul><li>Then you put a layer of compost to cover the hay or straw. And then a little more water. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Fifth Step <ul><li>Now tip in the worms and get the food scraps or waste ready. You need to cut the food with a spade. Just like fruit salad. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Sixth Step <ul><li>Tip on the food scraps and get a cardboard lid for your worm farm. </li></ul>
  9. 9. Seventh Step <ul><li>Place cardboard on top of everything, and put a blanket over the worm farm. This prevents the worms form escaping. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Final Step <ul><li>Finally place a WOOD lid on top </li></ul><ul><li>Now all you have to do is……… </li></ul>
