A total of 2,295 members of the IT community at Toolbox.com participated in the survey, which was conducted from June 16-28, 2010.<br />Among the 841 respondents from North America: <br />67.3% are currently seeking new employment opportunities <br />10% are currently unemployed<br />92.1% have 5 years or more of professional experience<br />15.2% are managers or executives<br />27.5% report current salaries above $100K<br />36.5% consider themselves overqualified for their current position<br />63.2% of those current seeking new employment have been searching for less than 3 months<br />47.6% are using social media to conduct their job search<br />
