  3. 3. The aim of this project is to do theoretical and experimental studies about water. Students will do some simple experiments by studying the properties of water; they will search the Internet information resources for our planet, water, and its importance in our lives utilisations.     <br />Some research on water pollution in the area where students live, will be performed by a group of them and they will present their work in video presentations or PowerPoint, slideshow pictures and / or essays.<br /> Water can be analyzed, also from a literal  point of view, students can focus on the historical contribution of water in shaping civilizations. For what concerns Literature they will read some passages and poems dealing with the theme of water in its different forms (Sea, snow, rivers, rain and ice); then they will investigate on its different meanings<br />

Objectives<br />To develop cross-curricular project on the theme of water<br />To learn how to handle a topic from different perspectives<br />To develop critical thinking<br />To use English as a Lingua Franca among non-native speakers<br />To gain skills in handling ICT tools <br />To get the chance to work together, be on the working groups <br />To meet peers from other countries and to cooperate with them <br />To realize the benefits of teamwork and cooperation <br />To make more easy  communication among our pupils.<br />To  learn to respect the environment and feel responsible for it<br />To feel, as citizens , able to search problems and propose solutions<br />

  6. 6. Workingmethods<br />Contact between teachers to establish all aspects of project and to produce documents that will be used by students. All partners will create and follow a schedule of the project so that all schools can plan work and activities and set dates for common actions. Questionnaires for the family, teachers and students made by students and analysis of responses. Experimental studiesWorkshops with participating studentsChat, email,Web SurveyWeb Search . Working on creating PowerPoint presentation with Microsoft Office PowerPoint or in Google docs or in SlideBoom. Working on creating videos , on making pictures Video Collaboration .Publication of materials, uploading PowerPoint presentations , vodeos, photos on blog etc.Joint production of presentation to show the final product.<br />
