  1. 2. Oceanic Climate and vegetation <ul><li>It´s characterized by soft temperatures all the year and regular rainfalls. Its average of rainfalls is 2000 mm </li></ul><ul><li>Vegatation consists of deciduous forest , beeches , chestnust-trees , oaks , elms and moorlands </li></ul>
  2. 3. Mediterranean of coast climate <ul><li>Soft temperatures and moderate rainfalls, it sometimes suffer cold slug in Autumn . Its average is 450 mm a year </li></ul><ul><li>The typical vegetable formation is the mediterranean evergreen forest holm oak and cork tree. </li></ul><ul><li>Bushes such as Rockrose, thyme, rosemary.... </li></ul>
  3. 4. Mediterranean climate of interior <ul><li>It presents a marked thermal annual extent . The rainfalls are scanty about 450 mm a year </li></ul><ul><li>In the driest areas there are xerophilous plants </li></ul><ul><li>In other areas there are mediterranean forest , maquia or garriga </li></ul>

It has got a low thermal extent </li></ul><ul><li>Scanty rainfalls 250mm </li></ul><ul><li>Rainfalls are more abundants when we go up the mountains </li></ul><ul><li>In the Canary Islands there are big differences between the low, very arid ( dragon tree) </li></ul><ul><li>In the intermediate area appears the Laurisilva </li></ul><ul><li>And finally on the peak of mountains appear canary pine </li></ul>
  5. 6. Climate of High mountain <ul><li>The winters are cold and the summer are fresh </li></ul><ul><li>The rainfalls are superior to the nearby areas with minor altitude </li></ul><ul><li>The vegetation is staggered in floors ,. The vegetation changes according to area of the mountain </li></ul>
