Primary Succession <ul><li>Begins in a place without any soil </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Sides of volcanoes </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Landslides </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Glacier melting </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Starts with the arrival of living things such as lichens that do not need soil to survive, called PIONEER SPECIES. </li></ul>
