  4. 4. All of the Countries in Latin America, but brazil, hold Spanish as there official Language. Brazils official Language is Portuguese. source <br />
  5. 5. There are 6 major Ethnic groups that occupy South America. source<br />
  6. 6. The Amerindians are the original native peoples that inhabited the region before the Europeans came source<br />
  7. 7. There is a large population of white Europeans who colonized the new continent soon after it was discovered source<br />
  8. 8. Possibly the numerous people ethnicity currently is the Mestizos whom share both South American and European ancestry. source<br />
  9. 9. Numerous African slaves were brought to South America By the Europeans and today they make up a large portion of the population source<br />
  10. 10. Just as there are those whom have bothEuropean and Amerindian ancestry there are also those with both Amerindian and African Ancestry. They are the Zambo source<br />
  11. 11. There is also a small, but mentionable population in South America. They got there threw early trade routs between Europe and Asia whom often passed threw the area. source<br />
