A picture says more than a thousand words. An interesting photo on Facebook is easily viewed by more than a thousand people. Now, how can you leverage this for your advantage? Seventy-five percent of respondents to the November 2012 Site Index: Focus on Technology and Social Media use social media, but almost half of them do not know how to implement social media into their business operations in a simple and meaningful way. In this interactive session, explore how you can create opportunities during your event that your participants would love to share.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Understand the importance of tapping into the 2nd degree network of your participants and how to do that in a live experience.
2. Define a simple checklist of things to organize during your events to engage participants on social media.
3. Examine creative ideas for leveraging social media at your next event.
