There are lots of cultural landscape all around the world
that compels a certain country famous and tourists do come
and witness its spectacular design and characteristics.
The organization , UNESCO, has its own criteria for
selection and emblazed it as Word Heritage Site. One of
those outstanding examples of a region involved in the
production of wine for centuries Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén
county in northeastern Hungary – The Tokaj Wine Region.
Within the presentation, the students are expected to:
describe one of the inscribed as World Heritage Site
by the World Heritage Committee;
distinguish achieved criterion in the World Heritage
appreciate how it helps the people living in Hungary.

The cultural landscape of Tokaj graphically
demonstrates the long tradition of wine production in this
region of low hills and river valleys.
The intricate pattern of vineyards, farms, villages and
small towns, with their historic networks of deep wine
illustrates every facet of the production of the famous
Tokaj wines, the quality and management of which have
been strictly regulated for nearly three centuries.
