Symbaloo<br />Symbaloo ‘Access your Bookmarks anywhere’ http://www.symbaloo.com/ is basically a personal online desktop, which helps users in managing favorite sites and services. <br />Symbaloo Features <br />‘Symbaloo Bookmarker’ can be used to bookmark the websites easily to the Symbaloo desktop. <br />‘Number of items’ gives the users ability to elevate or alleviate the number of websites one can access. <br />The user can choose among the categories, Sports, Entertainment, Politics, Business, and Technology etc. <br />Multiple desktops can be generated. <br />
  4. 4. DimDim<br />Dimdim (http://www.dimdim.com/) provides free web conferencing service where users could share desktops, show slides, collaborate, chat, talk and broadcast via webcam. It has been compared to the WebEx 2.0 web conferencing solution.<br />

Panopto/Synote<br />Panoptohttp://panopto.lums.edu.pk/ or Synotehttp://synote.org/addresses the important and pervasive user need of making multimedia Web resources easier to access, search, manage and exploit for learners teachers and other users through developing an application that supports the creation of synchronised notes, bookmarks, tags, links, images and text captions. <br />

Cyn.in<br />Cyn.in (http://www.cynapse.com/cynin) , a PLE, that helps teams to communicate faster and build collaborative knowledge by sharing and discussing various forms of digital content within a secure, unified application. It combines the capabilities of collaboration tools like wikis, social networks, blogs, file sharing repositories, micro blogs, discussion boards and other communication applications into one secure enterprise platform.<br />
  7. 7. Tonido<br />Tonido (http://www.tonido.com/) is home server. Once installed on a computer, Tonido software makes that computer's files available remotely through the browser from the WAN. Tonido takes the approach of storing all user information including login credentials locally, providing login into Tonido software in the absence of internet connectivity.<br />

The product makes use of the cloud computing platform from Amazon EC2. <br />KnowledgeTree’s features —<br /> including workflow, document alerts and version control <br /> are designed to help organizations manage business processes around documents in addition to enabling file sharing among teams. The service is available on a subscription basis.<br />

Notes can include files and images, and can be linked to other notes within NotePub, or to external websites. Content is organized chronologically and with tags. <br />
