    14. 14. EXAMPLE: METERING SYSTEM LAYOUT <ul><li>Each power meter can be connected to ETC2002 via RS485 communication. The meters and measuring instruments can be divided into several areas. ETC2002 will send the data to a computer and/or to eXpertpower TM . </li></ul><ul><li>Each meter has a secondary communication output (COM2), for transferring data to additional systems. Available outputs: RS485, RS232, telephone modem, cellular modem or TCP/IP. </li></ul><ul><li>Some of the meters have digital and analog inputs and outputs, so that data from water meters with pulse outputs can be read by the system. In any case a monitor can be connected to the system to receive readings from the water meters. </li></ul>

SATEC’s Technical Offer <ul><li>To install on the high voltage input of the IEC model PM296 that can issue TOU billing in order to check the bills of the IEC and monitor the quality of electricity supplied by the IEC. </li></ul><ul><li>To install model PM172EH on the low voltage outputs of the transformers in order to balance the energy and check the quality of power due to problematic consumers of the project. </li></ul><ul><li>To install model PM172E at the outputs of the generators. </li></ul><ul><li>To install a multi channel BFM136 for commercial consumers, to be completed with the help of single channel PM130 or PM172E. </li></ul><ul><li>To install a communication network and connect it to a central computer and/or to the eXpertpower TM internet site through the communications converter ETC2002. </li></ul><ul><li>To use a reading and billing software and/or internet site in order to control, issue electric bills, monitor power quality, operate generators and provide alarms for faulty readings of electricity consumption. </li></ul>

System Operations Options <ul><li>The customer has a number of options for operation : </li></ul><ul><li>Self operation following initial instructions of SATEC’s technicians using the reading software PAS that reads consumer data and controls power quality and using PAS software supplied with the instruments at no charge. TOU software can be purchased from SATEC at a reasonable cost. </li></ul><ul><li>Self management of the system using the on-line service of eXpertPower. </li></ul><ul><li>For commercial consumers, purchasing from SATEC the billing service. SATEC’s professional staff will provide electric bills directly to the customer and frees the entrepreneur from the need to operate a software and hardware system. </li></ul><ul><li>All SATEC products are under warranty for 3 years. If the warranty expires, additional years can be purchased. </li></ul>
