Purpose To assist those who involve in education system in order to develop their knowledge and skills in using ICT in classroom To achieve educational goals and targets. To make them acquire the skills effectively. To provide a reference as a guide in using ICT.
About the Toolkit To provide the instruments and reference materials of ICT The tools help to collect and analyze data, diagnose situations and issues, formulate situations, and evaluate implementations. The tools do not make decisions for users, not automatically generate ICT projects and not a planning tool. It is an instrument that people engaged in the human process of planning for ICTs in education.
When to Use the Toolkit The Toolkit may be used in any of the following situations: Situation 1 – Considering ICT Interventions to enhance educational objectives Situation 2 – A decision about an ICT-in-education intervention program has already been made, but implementation has not been planned or commenced Situation 3 – ICT hardware is in place but no decisions have been made on content ware Situation 4 – ICT program or project is under implementation Situation 5 – An ICT program or project has been implemented and next steps are being considered
