  2. 2. Purpose To assist those who involve in education system in order to develop their knowledge and skills in using ICT in classroom To achieve educational goals and targets. To make them acquire the skills effectively. To provide a reference as a guide in using ICT.

About the Toolkit To provide the instruments and reference materials of ICT The tools help to collect and analyze data, diagnose situations and issues, formulate situations, and evaluate implementations. The tools do not make decisions for users, not automatically generate ICT projects and not a planning tool. It is an instrument that people engaged in the human process of planning for ICTs in education.

When to Use the Toolkit The Toolkit may be used in any of the following situations: Situation 1 – Considering ICT Interventions to enhance educational objectives Situation 2 – A decision about an ICT-in-education intervention program has already been made, but implementation has not been planned or commenced Situation 3 – ICT hardware is in place but no decisions have been made on content ware Situation 4 – ICT program or project is under implementation Situation 5 – An ICT program or project has been implemented and next steps are being considered
