  4. 4. Funded by the 9th European Development Fund (EDF9)
  5. 5. Total Fund : 12.38 M€
  6. 6. Five island nations participated:
  7. 7. RMI and FSM (four states): focused on outer islands
  8. 8. Palau, Nauru and Niue: overall efficiency improvement
  9. 9. Four year project started in January, 2006
  10. 10. Project completion delayed into May, 2010
  11. 11. Programme Management Unit (PMU) to oversee overall projects
  12. 12. Main office in Suva and sub-office in Pohnpei</li></li></ul><li>Projects in FSM<br /><ul><li>Total 173kWp PV systems installed
  13. 13. Off-grid solar PV (121kWp) installed in 11 outer islands (Yap, Chuuk, and Pohnpei)
  14. 14. 5 grid-connected solar PV (52kWp) installed in Kosrae
