This slide deck shows all the stadiums in the American and the National Leagues. The idea is to show how none of them are in as close proximity to established housing and residential areas as the one that the Oakland A's are proposing to build in Fremont half a mile from elementary schools and even closer to the houses.
1. The Stadiums of
Major League Baseball
A comparison slide show of Google Earth aerial images
of all Major League Baseball stadiums.
These images graphically show no other MLB
stadium is situated as close to an extensive,
single-family neighborhood as the proposed Warm
Springs stadium site.
Developing a neighborhood next to a stadium is a plan.
Developing a stadium next to a neighborhood is
unconscionable.

2. As you review the photographs
take notice of the area immediately
around the ballpark.
Look at the parking, the freeway interchanges,
the greenbelts, waterways, and most importantly
the proximity of the stadium to
single-family residential developments, indicated
by this symbol.
