2. My name is Francelia Chapa, and I am currently a fifth grade teacher at Colegio San Patricio. I´ve been working for 17 years in this school. I graduated as Lic. en EducaciónPedagógica. I have taught in 2nd. Grade, 4th. Grade, and English Conversation.
3. I am married, and have two children. My husband supports me in my passion for education. My daughter is happily married and successfully working. My son is working very hard in his education at college.
4. Education is and always has been a very important aspect of my life. I believe that teachers have an important job. We are shaping the lives of students whether it is passing on values and beliefs or teaching them about what has happened in the past. All students have the capacity to learn and experience a proper education.
5. As a teacher my goal is for my students to enjoy learning providing them with an educational environment that is encouraging and positive. I hope to provide the skills and tools necessary for success and find their individual talents.
6. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the theater, movies, reading, listening to music and cooking. I like to watch TV shows on decoration, gardening, fashion, and comedy. We all know that a better education is the key to a successful future. I look forward to a great school year!

Mission: For students to enter sixth grade feeling inspired toward higher learning – and a responsibility for their learning.
11. Attendance: If a student is absent he/she is expected to make up missed work. It is vitally important for students to attend school every day. Homework policy All students are expected to copy their homework everyday and turn it in daily. Math is daily including Friday. Leveled Reader book reports will be turned in every Friday, unless specified.
