The FORSEE ProjectTargets ICT Research Development and Innovation (RDI) policyreform in South-East Europe (SEE) through: □ Proposing focused efforts in introducing a foresight culture in the region □ Allowing ICT stakeholders to voice aspirations, meet challenges and help with developing a vision in this field

To achieve its goal, the FORSEE Project endeavors ICT RDIregional collaboration improvements in SEE by addressing topicslike: □ the present and future role of SEE in the global economy □ the ability of SEE countries to meet the information age challenges □ the impact level of RDI investments on the SEE countries’ ICT policies
  5. 5. The Project is co-funded by the European Union, under theSouth-East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme

  10. 10. □ Embedding a foresight culture in the SEE countries’ policy making process, which will lead to a systematic participatory approach and an acceleration of economic growth and enhanced readiness to meet globalized economy challenges□ Motivating an open dialogue between SEE-relevant stakeholders, synthesizing views and creating a sense of regional ownership towards the proposed policy recommendations□ Conserving resources and improving efficiency and competitiveness on the global market by initiating transnational collaborations on ICT strategic development planning
  11. 11. □ Prioritizing ICT RDI policies for each participating country in order to channel the existing resources effectively into activities with a real potential for success□ Creating a framework for the re-evaluation of the prioritized policies as pillars of a regional plan for development for each participating country□ Building a methodological platform and a set of tools for carrying out further regional Foresight exercises
