What have you learnt about thetechnologies from the process ofconstructing this product?Evaluation Question 6
CameraDuring the process I have had to use a camera to take pictures touse in my magazine for the front cover, contents and doublepage spread. I am very familiar with the camera so it was sosimple to use. Although it was simple to use it was difficult tryingto find the right scenery to use for my model that had a form ofassociation with the genre of my magazine, but I think with thetrial photos and a bit of practice I got this right and used theright photos even though they were not to a standard that couldnot be improved upon. To take my photos I used a PanasonicLumix DMC-FS35. This camera allowed my shots to be of a highquality.
Computer/LaptopI used I used the school computers and my Aceraspire laptop to create my coursework . I usedthese for my research and planning and theconstruction of my magazine. I didnt learnanything new about them during the process, although I did learn a significant amount aboutthe programs and softwares that I used.
PhotoshopThe programme that I used to construct my magazine wasAdobe Photoshop CS6. The techniques I used that wereput in my work were techniques such as the lasso todelete unwanted items on pictures to make the picturelook more appealing. I learnt new techniques from myfriend who taught me how to use the programme. Withthe use of photoshop I felt I progressed massively withuse of it as I had never used it before. The difference frommy mock up to my final copies were massive and there isvisual evidence in the improvement I made. When usingphotoshop I found out numerous of new things I was ableto do on the software which helped me dramaticallyimprove my magazine with ease

Microsoft WordAnother programme I used was Microsoft Word 2007 to planand create the text for my article. This helped me as it allowedme to make few errors as it auto corrected spelling andidentified grammatical errors this ensured that my article readwell with no errors and lookedas professional as possible withNo spelling or grammatical errors.
