Before using Non-Sparking Safety tools, gas locations should be identified to determine whether the
tools used have reached their explosion-proof performance.
All kinds of wrenches of explosion-proof manual tools have different rated strength. It is strictly forbidden
to use casing overload. Other tools except the knock wrench should not be knocked, so as to avoid overload
fracture and deformation and affect normal use. When using tools, we should choose their varieties and
specifications reasonably according to the needs, not to replace small ones with large ones, let alone use
them as steel tools. It should be pointed out that when using flexible wrenches, pipe pliers and rigid wrenches,
attention should be paid to the requirements of the direction of force, and no arbitrary rotation and torsion
should be allowed. When using tools with edges, the hardness of the workpiece itself should be measured
first. When the hardness of the workpiece approaches the hardness of the tool, it can be operated. When
the hardness of the tool is higher than the hardness of the tool, it is forbidden to use When the workpiece is
tightened by motor, semi-permanent fixed or corroded, and no other measures are taken before using the
manual tool, it should be prohibited to use in order to avoid damage to the tool.
Cutting edge tools should be placed in the flume and gently touched with the grinding wheel for grinding.
It is not necessary to use too much force and contact the grinding wheel for too long.
In the practical operation of knocking and smashing tools, it is necessary to remove debris and oxides
corroded on the working surface to prevent sparks from the impact of third parties.
The Non-Sparking Safety tools of various specifications should be carefully operated and handled lightly,
so that they can not be thrown everywhere on the rock or cement floor.
Non-Sparking Safety tools are of high strength and corrosion resistance in most flammable and
explosive gases. But it is not corrosion-resistant in all cases, such as in wet ammonia, acetylene, some
ammonium salts, fluorine, chromium, ammonium, some dichromate medium, the degree of corrosion is
considerable. Some media will react chemically with copper alloys to produce explosive substances with
high risk, such as acetylene combined with copper to produce copper acetylene. Therefore, when using
Non-Sparking Safety tools, as far as possible in dry environment, if it is impossible to avoid the use in wet
environment, try to speed up the operation speed, reduce the working time, and prevent greater corrosion
and danger. Clean it at any time after use, and it is strictly forbidden to pack it in the same box with corrosive
substances.
When Non-Sparking Safety tools are out of use, they should be wiped clean at any time. Those who do
not use it within half a year should be oiled or preserved by antiseptic method, and those who stop using it for
more than one year should be oiled and stored in bags or boxes. All parts of used tools are worn or damaged,
especially tools with edges, which can be repaired in non-dangerous places. If the damage and wear are
serious and unsuitable for self-repair, they should be scrapped and not work with diseases.
When Non-Sparking Safety tools and rocks collide, there is the possibility of sparks. Sparks are
generated irrespective of Non-Sparking Safety tools. When rock crystals rupture under tension, the
mechanical energy of impact becomes electricity. This energy is released in the form of an electric spark.
Sparks are particularly prone to occur in rocks containing quartz, silica and sandstone. The higher the content
of quartz in rocks, or the larger the particles, the easier to ignite. In order to prevent the explosion accident,
the rock is immersed in water and then operated.
When Non-Sparking Safety tools collide with hot steel workpieces coated with aluminium paint (pipes,
heat containers, bolts, nuts, etc.), there is the possibility of sparks caused by third-party impact. For example,
the powder particles of aluminium, magnesium and their alloys adhere slightly to the surface of rusted iron
and steel, and may undergo an intense exothermic "aluminothermic reaction" when impacted by hard objects
or even hard rubber or plastics, which is likely to detonate.
