The first phase, System Design, covers requirements gathering and high-level design. This engagement, which combines workshops and hands-on support, typically includes the following: • Detailed design of components: – Order manager within the entitlement hub – Integration strategy for middleware – ERP and other back office systems – Data contracts between external systems • Implementation and unit test of detailed design components • Assistance with integration of components • Assistance with system test • Go-live assistance and post go-live support By the end of the engagement, the customer will have a fully-implemented entitlement hub that is integrated their back office systems. Entitlement Hub Build, Test and Deploy Objectives There are four objectives to Entitlement Hub Build, Test and Deploy: • Develop a detailed blueprint for integrating back-office systems with the entitlement management system (using the high-level design created in System Design engagement) • Implement and unit test detailed design components • Integrate and test entitlement management system • Support project through go-live and post go-live Delivery Approach The engagement is delivered by two Flexera Software Consultants in five or more work streams. Whenever possible, work streams are executed in parallel. Work Stream I: Series of design workshops that will provide guidance and define the entitlement hub technical strategy. This typically includes: • Define entitlement hub framework technology • Determine integration strategy with middleware, ERP and other back-/front-office systems • Define needed modules within the entitlement hub • Validate data contract for the external interface layer of the defined modules Work Stream II: Build the order manager within the entitlement hub • Build entitlement hub framework • Build order manager policy layer • Build order manager external data contract interfaces and integrate to core order manager • Deploy order manager interface layer Work Stream III: Order management integration with middleware/ERP • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the consumers of the order manager • Advisory support as needed • Assist with the loading of sample data for testing purposes • Testing support, as needed Work Stream IV: System testing support • Attend test review calls or meetings • Characterize and diagnose problems, assist in management of an issues list • Provide technical remedy • Submit to Flexera Software engineering for FlexNet Operations/FlexNet Operations On Demand releases as needed Work Stream V: Go-live and post go-live support • Participation in migration and cutover development • Representation during active migration and cutover execution • Availability to resolve production problems

Entitlement Hub Build, Test and Deploy Project Timeline Entitlement Hub Build, Test and Deploy occurs over 11-16 weeks, for a basic deployment, usually in the following sequence: Deliverables At the conclusion of Entitlement Hub Build, Test and Deploy, the organization will have a fully-implemented entitlement hub, which is the central component of an entitlement management solution. Primary Audience Customer resources required for this engagement include one executive sponsor (usually VP or higher) and multiple technical stakeholders to attend one or more of the design workshop sessions. Stakeholders include: • IT – Infrastructure • IT – Business analysts • IT – Developers Related Services Entitlement Hub Build, Test and Deploy follows the System Design engagement. Together, both engagements take the entitlement management system from high-level design to deployment.
