In the 6 surgeries(1)
of the Association, some
retired trained nurses(2)
make simple activities
like small dressings, measures of blood pressure,
cholesterol and glycemia.
Besides they give injections free of charge without
any financial cost.
To keep in mind that in Ferrara trained nurses
wants 6 € for each injection, which are to much
for a retired person.

Anteas has got 5 surgeries in the province of Ferrara
and 1 in the city center.

The trained nurses who give injections are insured.
8. Transport sick
Volunteers transport sick people to the
hospital for therapies.
To carry out this service, ANTEAS has
got 11 means of transport in the province
of Ferrara.
ANTEAS carries out projects cooperating with the local
Health Services.
10. Accompaniment
Some volunteers visit old lonely people at
their home to keep them company or to
transport them to the market for shopping
and, why not, for a walk in the park.
11. Social and cultural animation
Management of meetings to encourage the
socialization and to rise the culture of the
partecipants, on occasion of Women fest, First of
May, chestnut fest, and so on.
13. ANTEAS finances its self by
•membership cards (8 € for each member);
•donations of banks;
•offers of private people for received services;
•management of trips, tumbles, lotteries.
14. Main problems of the Organization
• To recruit voluntary nurses and drivers;
• to carry out traning courses for the voluntiers;
• to carry out seminars to support and increase the
volunteers’ motivation.
15. It takes 1 hour
to get to the Delta PO by car.
16. Ferrara is close to Venice.
It takes 1 hour and a half to get to Venice by car.
17. Ferrara is close to The Dolomites.
It takes 2 hours to get to the Dolomites.
