Social Policy Structures K.D.E.K. Social Care “Help at Home” programme at the Municipal Cluster of Lipsindrio “Help at Home” programme at the Municipal Cluster of Megali Vrisi Early Childhood Centre “Tsaf – Chouf” Nursery “the little Stars” Early childhood resource & training center – “KDAP Saint Tryfonas” Early childhood resource & training center for Children with Disabilities.

Part of the primary social care services The Services provided are: Social Work Nursing and Family Assistance at home and Development of social and operational skills to meet basic needs. Emphasis is given to the elderly people, as well as to people with disabilities
  7. 7. “Help at Home” K.D.E.K. social care services to elderly people and to people with disabilities
  8. 8. Early Childhood Centre “Tsaf – Tsouf” K.D.E.K. It is addressed to children from 6 to 12 years old. The programme aims at: Children’s after school creative occupation, through singing, playing, painting, discussing, Exploiting properly children’s leisure time, Motivating & challenging children, Supporting mothers who work. The centre may be linked to the educational institutions, social services and cultural services, etc.
  9. 9. Early childhood resource & training center for Children with Disabilities K.D.E.K. The programme aims to: 1. Focus the children 2. Ensure children’s active participation 3. Children’s after school creative occupation, through singing, playing, painting, discussing 4. Exploit properly children’s leisure time, 5. Motivate & challenge children, 6. Support working mothers of children with disabilities. 7. Support families to to address situations of social exclusion and to avoid the recourse to institutional care.
