Collaboration within open source projects is becoming increasingly important for most companies, but it can be difficult to strike the right balance between the needs of the company and the open source project. Dawn Foster works on open source software strategy at Pivotal and has 20+ years of experience leading open source software initiatives at companies like Puppet Labs, Intel, and Jive Software.
