It keeps your life in control –  You know what you have to do within a few days or specific time period, this is the reason why, you start asking yourself questions when you see things getting out of your hand. You don’t want to do anything that might deviate you from your goal. So you keep control in your life.

Setting goals make you clear about your future. You know what to do, how to do and what you are going to become after 5 or 6 years.

You do not depend on other anymore. Setting goals create accountability. In case you are not in track with your plans, you know what to do and you seek no one’s help.

If it is your desire to become a “writer”, and your goal is to publish a “book”, you know what you have to do or you know what you want. When you prepare yourself for your venture, nothing can deviate you from your goal because that is what you want. That is your wish.
