I understand your posi on. You seem a li le confused about mine, however.
I started with a plea offer because I know we are ge ng close to trial and if the case was able to be
resolved, now was the me to do it.
I have every belief that this case is a solid one which will be very triable and I am ready to do so.

The prosecutor understands the defendant's position in not accepting a plea deal but believes the case against the defendant is strong and is prepared to take it to trial. In an email, the prosecutor explains to the defendant that a plea was originally offered because trial was approaching, but now that it has been rejected she is ready for trial, believing the case will be very triable.
