FiftyFlowers, located in Ojai, California, is a pioneer in the wholesale, online fresh-cut flower business. The company, which was founded in 2003 by Chief Executive Officer Liza Roeser Atwood, grew out of Atwood’s experience in Ecuador while she was working for the Peace Corps. After learning Spanish and developing strong ties with the best flower growers in the country, Atwood started her own small business while still living in South America. This led to the development of her current business, Fifty Flowers, which is now an established entity in the wholesale flower business and maintains offices in the U.S. and Ecuador.
