    5. 5. Make it Rain! This is what we wish business fundinglooked like
    6. 6. Revolution of Funding

    11. 11. A relatable pitch...
    12. 12. The best artist....steal Go on crowdfunding websites and watch successful and evenunsuccessful videos and look at campaign descriptions and pledge giftsand beg borrow and steal the best content and spin it to your campaign.
    13. 13. Must have a compelling video...Use your smart phone or hire a college student to help you put together acompelling videoLet donors know what their contributions will do for you and your business. You are not just presenting your business you are “selling” your business topotential investors(Theres a difference!)You and your partners need to be in your videoShow a demo of your product even if it is just a sketch
    14. 14. Tap into your network...Use all your social networks and email listTweet for DollarsAsk friends/family to support your cause with donations or social capital(Social Capital=ReTweets and sharing your campaign with their networks)
    15. 15. Be Authentic...Be yourself! I am quirky and clumsy and I fell down chasing an ice creamtruck I never wanted to tell that story but people can relate to that. Bestadvice I ever received from an investor: Investors big or small are notinvesting in your past or idea they invest in people and more importantlypeople they like. Don’t be afraid to tell your true story of failure andtriumph. You want people watching your video to relate to you enoughthat they want to open up their wallets and fund you.
    16. 16. ROI= Damn Good Pledge GiftsIf you are not offering equity in your business people still want to knowwhat they are getting in return for their investment aside from helping youbuild your business. Offering exclusive gifts that don’t cost you much butcan be really valuable to your backers can really make the differencebetween being funded at 25% and being funded at 500%.You must get Super Creative!
    17. 17. Superwoman... How are you going to change the world?Don’t just ask for money to add change to your pocket aim to build a companythat will also change your community and change the world. Once you’ve beenfunded set aside $20+ a month to help fund other crowd funding projects.
