Broadening Access <ul><li>Our goal for 2006: </li></ul><ul><li>Develop a portfolio of access projects designed to </li></ul><ul><li>both assist local education systems and develop </li></ul><ul><li>access for new IB World Schools. </li></ul><ul><li>What we achieved: </li></ul><ul><li>Significant extra support from governments in five </li></ul><ul><li>countries plus many other projects under way. </li></ul>

Delivering Excellent Service <ul><li>Our goal for 2006: </li></ul><ul><li>Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for key areas of IB work so that all stakeholders have a </li></ul><ul><li>better sense of how we are performing. </li></ul><ul><li>What we achieved: </li></ul><ul><li>Established KPIs with the Council of Foundation, </li></ul><ul><li>including the school satisfaction survey. </li></ul>

Looking Ahead <ul><li>Our goal for 2006: </li></ul><ul><li>Develop and launch a new organization-wide information system (IBIS) so that we have a flexible and effective administrative system to support the work of schools, examiners and IB staff. </li></ul><ul><li>What we achieved: </li></ul><ul><li>IBIS supported the November 2006 examination session. </li></ul>

Distant Learning Opportunities <ul><li>Our goal for 2006: </li></ul><ul><li>Develop e-learning for students so that we </li></ul><ul><li>widen access by making our programmes less </li></ul><ul><li>institutionally bound. </li></ul><ul><li>What we achieved: </li></ul><ul><li>Launched the initiative, established a project team, </li></ul><ul><li>project plan and fundraising strategy for this sixyear project. </li></ul>

Define IB Identity <ul><li>Our goal for 2006: </li></ul><ul><li>Complete a review of the IB identity and begin to implement changes so that the organization is </li></ul><ul><li>immediately identifiable as a leader in international </li></ul><ul><li>education. </li></ul><ul><li>What we achieved: </li></ul><ul><li>Reviewed, designed and consulted on the new identity ready to launch in April 2007. </li></ul>

IB Funding and IB Supporters <ul><li>Our goal for 2006: </li></ul><ul><li>Expand the organization’s capacity to fundraise and further mobilize the volunteer network and circle of IB friends. </li></ul><ul><li>What we achieved: </li></ul><ul><li>The new development director work s closely with the IB Fund Board to enhance the IB international profile and to connect supporters of the IB to one another and to IB projects that interest them most. </li></ul>
