Local designer, Sue Wong got her Spring/Summer 2012 designs out of the gate early, kicking off LA Fashion Week with anavant-garde showing of gorgeous dresses. Some are calling it an exploration offeminine archetypes and good versus evil. We actually find her newest collection redcarpet ready. Below are a few shots that we got of Wong’s models. So check it out andcomment below.
Above, Sue Wong (middle) poses for a picture with two of the models wearingdesigns from her new collection. Wearing eccentric showgirl inspired feather andfloral head dressings along with futuristic facial jewels, Sue Wong’s vision isdefinitely an extreme elegant vision. Wong herself wore a feather head dress and anoversized layered black ruffled floor length gown. Her black floral statement necklacecompletes her look beautifully.
Above, we see a cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 Sue Wong collection. Alot of attention to detail went into the making of this dress. Conservatively cut justabove the knee, the bottom of the dress is embroidered with black floral print over asilhouette white lining. Wong’s cocktail dress flows into an empire waist cumber bundesign and finishes at the bust with a white pleated sweetheart strapless top.Accessories included an embellished feather head dress, printed fishnet stockings, patent leather booties, floral chocker and a floral print mini clutch.
Next the above white floor length evening gown from Wong’s new collection isanother design worth a closer look. Details include a layered ruffle chiffon skirt, anelegant embroidered body and sophisticated embroidered double strap top. Thisgown has all of the makings of a true Hollywood evening. The look finishes with amatching white floral handbag accessory.
Bringing a little bit of vintage Hollywood glam to the present, the cocktail dresspictured above has all the detailing of a strapless 20’s era inspired look. Weespecially like the pale blush color of the knee length evening gown. The model abovehas a timeless almost memorable presence wearing the Sue Wong design.
Finally, the floor length abstract floral design falling down the top of the dress toabout knee level complete with a monochrome color pattern is definitely the star ofthe Sue Wong 2012 Spring Summer Collection. The jewelry and exotic headpiece puta flamboyant final touch on this glamorous outfit.Again, thank you for keeping it locked at www.wikifashionista.com, your source for
