Tonight’s Meeting: • Provide an overview of Phase IV project design • Provide an update on current Phase IV project activities, current status, and schedule • Solicit comments regarding the proposed design Tonight we will answer questions, but please submit all comments in writing to enable them to be part of the public record. 4

  6. 6. • Project Background: • Locally Funded project • Public walkway will meet VDOT & County design standards and will comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). • Facility will be maintained by Fairfax County 6
  7. 7. 7 Design Features: • 1200’ - 6’ wide asphalt walkway along roadway behind drainage ditch • Provides pedestrian connectivity from an existing walkway at Seneca Square to Falls Bridge Lane • Design alignment attempts to minimize tree loss and utility conflict
