The Beginning: Ayane’s Childhood<br />Birth: Born on 04 December1992<br />Where: Malaysia<br />Mother and Father: Buddhist<br />The majority of the population in Malaysia is Islam<br />General:<br />Because Ayane was born in Malaysia, she was exposed to the Islam religion, but she didn’t really believe in their religion. <br />She studied in a Japanese School which was mixed till she was 7<br />

The Beginning: Ayane’s Childhood<br />Influences:<br />Parents:<br /><ul><li>Parents are both Buddhist but never had a very strong belief for or against anything. </li></ul>Education:<br /><ul><li>Ayane went to school in a Japanese school which was mixed and everyone believed in different religions.</li></ul>Ayane’s Personal feelings towards religion:<br /><ul><li>She felt “scared” of Muslim people, and she never really felt any interest in knowing about the religion.</li></li></ul><li>Continuation from age 7-12<br />Moved to Singapore<br />Majority of Singaporeans are mixed in religion<br />Although, most of the people were Muslim<br />School: Japanese School, Still mixed<br />Duration: 5 years<br />

Ayane didn’t understand why when the Priest tells them not to do wrong, some people who attended church still did.</li></li></ul><li>NOW<br />Ayane lives in the Philippines for around 6 years now<br />She believes that she is agnostic now<br />Her parents still are Buddhist/Agnostic<br />(because they haven’t been in a Foreign country in a long time, so they forgot about the fundamentals of Buddhismt)<br />

I believe that if I was in Ayane’s place, I would have felt the same as Ayane. <br />I understand why Ayane is an Agnostic because she has been influenced with so many different cultures.<br />If I was in Ayane’s (shoes) I believe that I would have felt the same during 9/11 and how she may have felt uncomfortable towards the Muslim religion.<br />Because Ayane was culturally influenced the most, I believe that has influenced her in religion. <br />My Perspective:<br />
