  3. 3. Good Problems are Still Problems • 88 Traditional Sessions in 19 Schools (1-8) • 52 cars providing in-car instruction • Only 2 schools have 2 instructors working as a teacher in the building (Brownsburg, Perry) • 8 schools have 1 instructor • 9 schools do not have an instructor
  4. 4. Problem? Not enough Driver Ed. instructors teaching in our membership High Schools. • Fewer Teachers are pursuing DE Licensure • Teacher Preparation Programs: ISU, Ivy Tech • Losing DE Instructors to retirement • Aging population = average age 56.3
