  4. 4. Eco-innovation 2013 Main priority areas Materials recycling Sustainable building products Greening business Food and drink sector Water
  5. 5. Eco-innovation 2013 Materials Recycling Implement waste sorting and treatment methods to improve the quality of recycling materials such as construction, industrial, household, electrical and electronic waste. Encourage the design of innovative products using recycled materials and facilitate material recycling. Multiply business innovations that strengthen the competitiveness of the recycling industries.
  6. 6. Eco-innovation 2013 Sustainable building products Propel the use of construction products and related processes that reduce consumption of resources, embodied carbon and production of by-product wastes. Encourage the use of environmentally-friendly construction materials and innovative manufacturing processes.
  7. 7. Eco-innovation 2013 Food and drink sector Innovative products including new packaging solutions that reduce environmental impact and maximise resource efficiency. Cleaner and more efficient processes that reduce waste and increase materials recycling and recovery. Improved water management processes that reduce the use of water across the food and drink supply chain. Innovative products, processes and services reducing environmental impacts of consumption of food and drink.
  8. 8. Eco-innovation 2013 Water Water efficient processes, products and technologies, especially water-free processes. Water and wastewater treatment: solutions that offer greater efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Smart distribution systems aiming at saving water, chemicals, energy and materials.
  9. 9. Eco-innovation 2013 Greening business Innovative products that will decrease environmental impacts and use less resources. Greening of production and clean production processes, including industrial symbiosis. Substitution of materials by materials with reduced environmental impacts and higher resource efficiency (e.g. bio-based products), substitution of scarce materials and increased use of secondary raw material. Gradual innovation by introducing re-manufacturing mechanisms and innovative repairing services with substantial environmental benefit.
  10. 10. What can EVM do to help your company? Eco-innovation 2013 4. Monitor the processing of the grant. EVM counts with an interdisciplinary team: industrial engineers, computing engineers, architects, geographers, chemists, or graduates in law, which allows us to provide our clients with a wide ranging ability to support their procedures. 1. Prepare the administrative application for the grant. 2. Support the processes of making, advising, and preparation of the technical and economic sides of the project. 3.
