  2. 2. A country of picturesque beauty, situated in the eastern part of Europe, Romania is renown for its unique culture, the product of a distinct national identity.
  3. 3.  Deeply rooted in tradition and folklore, while also embracing innovation, Romanian culture has always struck as exceptionally vital and creative, imposing itself in the European space.
  4. 4.  Romania has given the world numerous remarkable personalities, in both arts and science.
  5. 5.  Inliterature, representative names are Mircea Eliade, Eugen Ionescu, Emil Cioran, and less known internationally, but nonetheless a symbol of our national identity, Mihai Eminescu.
