Eurouturn Project

 2. 2. Reaching out to the continent that hasforgotten Christ
3. 3. Since the very beginning of the church, Europe was at the forefront of the Christian development and world missions.
People like Martin Luther, John Wesley, Charles Spurgeon and Thomas Campbell, to name just a few, were children of the continent that looked for God in their hearts, made Jesus Christ their Lord, and gave us the reformation and the restoration movements.
Today Europe has forgotten the name of Jesus, and Christianity around the world seems to have forgotten the continent that once spread the Gospel to the new lands.
4. 4. A little example
In the UK, less than 3% of the population has given their life to Jesus Christ and regularly attend a church.
In Italy, the number is 0.7%, with an official protestant membership of 0.23%
5. 5. Thisisanemergency!Europeneedsthe light of Christ
6. 6. The spiritual challenges of Europe
7. 7. Secularism
Probably the biggest spiritual challenge today and for the last few decades. The European culture is leading the post-modernism, despising everything about religion, tradition and history. The idea about a God in control is simply ignored.
8. 8. Muslim immigration
Today there are 20 million Muslims in Europe and it is estimated that for 2025 will be 38 million. Considering the birth rate, some people even project that for the middle of the century 40% of the continent will be Muslim.
9. 9. Bocca Family
10. 10. We have been involved in ministry for over 10 years, with experience in local church planting and different ministries in Chile.
We have worked with the multicultural Hispanic community in California for the last 5 years.
In the US we have planted one new church, opened one church within a church, and rebuilt one Hispanic ministry
11. 11. In 2006 we arrived to California to serve the spiritual needs of the Hispanic Community.
13. 13. A Little summary of our work in the US
Over 300 Sermons preached.
Almost 400 Bible Study Classes
Over 150 Classes and Discipleship for women
Over 80 Peace Treaties shared (personal evangelism tool)
9 Evangelism Seminars “Ambassadors for Christ” in different churches , including the 2008 Pepperdine University Annual Lectures.
60 hours of teaching at LAICU. Sociology, Cultural Anthropology and Exegesis.
Two interdenominational Worship Events organized.
Two events for Couples.
14. 14. But the most important thing…new believers
15. 15. Our Plan in
Europe
In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.Proverbs 16:9
16. 16. Stage 1: The Trip

Take the Bocca Family to London and have them installed there.

Stage 2: Research and Service

Once settled, find ways to collaborate with the needs of ICIMA Church in London.
 17. 17. From London and pointing to all Europe, make an accurate directory of the Christian Churches that are functioning.
 18. 18. Start visiting and contacting the most possible number of churches to survey and interview their leadership in order to document their experience and their challenges.
 19. 19. Survey people on the streets of major European cities about their experience with God, Jesus Christ and the Church.

Based on the preliminary information, start planning training programs for European leaders to help them improve their work.
 20. 20. Based on the training plan, contact possible Christian leaders in the US and other countries to invite them to teach seminars and programs to the European workers and church planters.

Stage 3: Creating Conscience

The information collected plus the experiences with the churches and their ministries, the documentation of the surveys and the street work will be the main material to film a Documentary about the spiritual reality of Europe and the challenges that Christianity is facing.

The main purpose for the documentary will be to create real conscience within the Christian Church around the world about the urgency of the spiritual situation and the challenges that European ministries and people are facing .

Stage 4: Finding Solutions

Along with the team and supporters, install a committee with the possible collaboration of local leaders, write a proposal that could work as a plan of what the churches around the world can do to help with the process of re-evangelization of the continent.
 21. 21. Connect local ministries in Europe with the missionaries that are and will be called to be a part of the vision of Eurouturn.

Thistaskisforeverybody. How can youbeinvolved?
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up.Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
22. 22. Prayers
We would like to form a Prayer Team for Europe for spiritual support on the challenges of the project and the family needs. Some things you can pray for:

Peace and strength for the whole family.
 23. 23. Provision for the tickets and expenses for the trip
 24. 24. For the hearts of those who are going to be called to get involved in any way in the re-evangelization movement of Europe.
 25. 25. Peace, creativity and discernment during the funding process.

We give thanks to the Lord because He is already putting in your heart the desire to fervently commit your prayers for this missionary project.
We would like to be in permanent touch with the Prayer Team, so we can periodically share our prayer needs and also have the opportunity to glorify God together for His answers. If you want to be a part of this Prayer Team for Europe, send us an email to eurouturn@gmail.com
26. 26. Financial Support
The missions around the world exist thanks to the financial commitment of those with a heart for the lost. In order to move forward with the work of God, we need your support and financial commitment, which will supply part of our monthly needs, materials, evangelistic tools and transportation, including the short term trips mentioned in the project.
Do not forget that:

Our family has sowed an example of a simple and humble life, fully dedicated to the Kingdom of God.
 27. 27. Your support will be tax deductible if you need it.

What you should know

The living cost in Western Europe is a lot higher that in any mayor city in the United States, and we are aware that we might not be able to raise all the funds that we need to fully support our family.
 28. 28. Our Italian citizenship gives us the freedom to transit and work in any of the EU countries, so we are open to secular jobs to get the portion of the funds that might be needed.
 29. 29. Because of the limited resources, we are not taking anything with us, except for luggage.
 30. 30. In the next few months we are expecting to ship our books (several boxes), and some instruments which are now in a storage facility.

Financial Commitment
At the beginning, we are expecting to raise funds from individuals and families that are close to us and know our hearts. We believe that God is forming a network of people that are not normally involved in missionary projects, but through their commitment with Eurouturn, they will be involved in the World Evangelism.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up.Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
31. 31. Financial Commitment
Funds for the Trip
Because of some legal steps for Marcela, we will need to go to Rome for a couple of weeks before heading to London.
We are accepting any one time donation to finance our trip, with no minimum or maximum.
Don’t wait for others to give. Every dollar counts, and nothing is too little… or too much.
32. 32. Financial Commitment
Monthly Support

You can give whatever God puts in your heart. We are asking for a monthly commitment from 6 months to 1 year.

Some monthly suggestions are:

$20
 33. 33. $30
 34. 34. $50
 35. 35. $70
 36. 36. $100
 37. 37. $150
 38. 38. $200
 39. 39. $250
 40. 40. $300
 41. 41. $500

If you believe that God is calling you to be part of this movement to re-evangelize Europe, and you want to support us in any way, please send us an email to:
eurouturn@gmail.com
42. 42. Networking
Something that we would really appreciate is if you can think of people that you know who might be moved to be a part of the Eurouturn project. You can share with them the information in our website, this presentation, or you can invite us to share the project with them.
Remember: The more people involved, the bigger the impact that we can make.
God Bless you and we hope to hear from you!
