  18. 18. ONLINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: GROUPS There are a number of groups sponsored by the Central Support Service – Featured Groups – but many other are managed by eTwinners like you. https://groups.etwinning.net/
  19. 19. ONLINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: GROUPS You can create a group too. But first check that something similar does not exist already in the platform. Fill out the form and submit for approval from Central Support Service. Once the group is approved and created you can start inviting your contacts and manage it by providing content.
  20. 20. ONLINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: SELF TEACHING MATERIALS The Self-Teaching Materials are foreseen as easy to use step by step tutorials that enable eTwinners to learn the use of the various tools eTwinning offers and to improve their pedagogical practices in and outside classroom. https://stm.etwinning.net/
  21. 21. ONLINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: SELF TEACHING MATERIALS These materials are related with the teachers’ profile. In what way? The Platform allows you to monitor the progress in your eTwinning journey. The progression pie shows a percentage which is calculated on your activities, and it gets updated every time you do something in eTwinning (write a post, participate in projects, events, professional development activities, etc.), but also if you successfully use the Self Teaching Materials.
  22. 22. ONLINE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: SELF TEACHING MATERIALS You may find more information about these materials either in the dedicated WEBSITE or under SUPPORT/Profile.
  23. 23. Face to Face Training
  24. 24. FACE TO FACE TRAINING: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS Professional Development Workshops, also known as PDW, are jointly organised between the hosting country and the Central Support Service. The PDW are opportunities for teacher’s professional development to take place in a European context with colleagues from different countries. They are aimed at individuals who want to learn more about eTwinning, the pedagogical models and the use of ICT that can be involved in eTwinning.
  25. 25. FACE TO FACE TRAINING: ETWINNING SEMINARS eTwinning Seminars, are organised by 2 or more countries without the direct involvement of the Central Support Service. The main objectives are to create projects and to find partners. These Seminars can be focused on: o Partner finding o Dealing with a theme common to a group of countries (e.g. French-speaking countries) o Development of eTwinning projects - where the concrete aim is to leave the event with projects registered. An eTwinning Seminar may be dedicated to all 3 aspects or to some of them.
  26. 26. FACE TO FACE TRAINING These workshops bring together participants from different European countries in order to network and share experiences. To participate in these type of events contact your National Support Service for further information.
  27. 27. Peer Learning
  28. 28. PEER LEARNING We believe eTwinners experience Peer Learning when: • Developing Projects and learning with their peers • Receiving ambassadors support either in a face to face situation or by email. • Receiving NSS support either in a face to face situation, by email or other means.
